Ok so this is the basic idea, imagine me scratching slowly... as my hand moves the record back and forward, this animation mimic's me perfectly, of course this is literally a very very basic version of it in the video, it can be sexed up a lot and made to look pretty lush, could maybe even use 3D stroke, I was watching a tutorial on it today and this guy made this proper sick looking animation that was ridiculously simple to make yet looked really professional

This is where i got the original idea from, it's on scratch where they're talking about transcribing scratches, then i was playing around on after effects and realized it's an absolute piece of piss to animate something like this.

Hi mark,

I'm half way through the storyboard and I'm gonna try and get an animatic done when i finish it but i do have my R+D tomorrow so i might be struggling with time for that.

I you could have a look at writing up a treatment and script for the bad boy i think we shall be sorted for wednesday morning, oh by the way, i think we're going first as i want to get out of there so i can do a quick run through of my R+D presenatation with my group a few times
