Ok so i've just been thinking again, and i was planning on maybe drawing up some draft storyboards, but straight away i'm having problems. I think the news report is going to be a real pain in the arse, we kind of need it to look credible, tongue in cheek is fine but if we take it too far, it's going to potentially ruin the film. I think also the biggest issue with it is going to be filming it. It's probably not going to be possible to actually film it in town centre with all of the destruction happening behind it like we want as getting the passers by to react is going to be impossible, and if they aren't reacting, it's going to look a bit odd.
I have had a few ideas, what i'm intending to do is one day this week (When it's Sunny...) is go out with a digital camera and do some location shoots. I think for me at least, i need to do this to get a real idea of what i'm going to do.
You're more than welcome to join me on this shoot, but it's probably going to be a very spur of the moment thing as i'm going to have to rely on the weather to be good enough to get some decent shots in, so you might not get a lot of notice :P. I've checked the weather online and its supposed to be clearing up on wednesday, so that's the most likely day i'll go.
Anyways, if you don't come with me on the shoot that's cool, i'll annotate the pictures i take and upload them to the blog.
Safe,
Mark
